Donald Trump and immigration issues
In June 2015, Trump launched his candidacy for the US presidency with an ultranationalist speech in which he railed against Mexican immigrants .
" When Mexico sends his people , do not send the best. They send people who have many problems," he said. According to Trump , Mexican immigrants bring drugs, crime , are rapists, and I guess some are good people," he said at the time , raising a wave of outrage in the Latino community in the United States, which even led him to lose several contracts .
For several weeks , the billionaire has backtracked on his comments and the debate on Thursday said : "You can ask for an increase in visas for highly skilled foreigners. " I am changing , we need highly qualified people in this country."
