Bernie's Plan for Universal Health Care

Not everyone has access to health care. Even if they do, there are still problems with this process. This is a major problem in our economy. President Barack Obama passed an act that was meant to fix this. Although, it was not executed perfectly. Now, a lot of people are criticizing this new health care plan. With the new election underway, all the candidates have ways of dealing with this problem.

Bernie Sanders is one of the candidates on board with Obamacare. Not only that, Bernie thinks that Obamacare doesn't do enough for the people. Bernie wants to make it stronger. It should be able to support everyone not just some people. He wants to establish a single-player system into the act. This would make it so that the government has to pay for everyone's health care.

There are many pros to Bernie's plan for health care. This plan will guarantee that everyone will have health care, regardless of who you are. No one will be denied health care services. Thanks to this, there are no limitations on the amount of health care you get. The single player system will make it so that amount of paperwork required is reduced. At the same time, the cost for providing health care will also be reduced. No longer will people have to get private health insurance. There would only be one buyer, the government. It looks like Bernie's plan will help out a lot of people.

Although there are many benefits to this new plan, it also comes with it's share of cons. The development of new medicines will decreased because there will be no more financial incentive. Since single player systems need funds to be processed by the government, there will be waiting times that have to be implemented. Now that the buyer of insurance is the government, physicians will have to be employed by the government. The physicians will be controlled by the government. This one more thing that the government will have to take care of. Overall, the single player system will put even burdens like this on the government. The new health care plan will have to cope with these obstacles.

Bernie wants to the lives of everyone in the country easier. His plan  to do this is change the health care system. Although his plan has a number of pros, it also comes with its downsides. Bernie is leaving no one behind.
